How to Prepare for the IES Full Form

IES is a national-level recruitment examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission

The IES exam consists of four papers written over two days. The conventional type papers allow you to use a calculator; however, you are not allowed to use a calculator on the objective paper. The objective paper is pretty straightforward. If you are an engineering graduate, you may have heard about the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination. This exam is held by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore or by any of the seven IITs.

The IAS is the most prestigious civil service posts, with upwards of nine lakh applicants each year attempting to get a seat in the IAS. Of these, over four lakh candidates advance to the preliminaries. IES is viewed as the most specialized and challenging test, and yet it is the slowest to gain acknowledgment. IES is a written exam
