Endura Singletrack Trousers Review

8

Endura’s Singletrack Trousers are part of their MT500 line and explicitly designed to keep gravity riders warm and dry in inclement conditions. Crafted with ExoShell fabric that offers 10K waterproofing and 20K breathability rating.

This baggy cut provides enough space for knee pads while its zipped hand pockets and thigh vents regulate temperature on hotter days. Velcro side waist adjusters offer a customized fit, while ClickFast compatibility lets you pair these shorts with other Endura liner shorts for seamless cycling adventures.

Comfort

There’s nothing worse than cold and wet legs, and these trousers do a fantastic job of shielding against wind chill. However, due to being partially seam sealed, they may let some water through during heavy downpours; however, this shouldn’t be a significant concern as a good pair of waterproof socks should protect from further wetness soaking through.

Singletrack Trousers are made of tough nylon fabric designed to endure years of abuse on MTB trails, with double and triple stitching to protect them against scrapes and scratches from hard riding. A bike-specific cut means ankles don’t catch on cranks or chains, and there is plenty of space for knee pads.

Adjusters and cam-style buckles offer a flexible yet secure fit, and the waistband’s raised design helps protect lower back pain. Furthermore, belt loops are available if desired.

Ventilation

Singletrack Trousers were explicitly created for fast, efficient trail riding, featuring bike-specific stretch panels to keep you mobile and flexible while triple needle stitching along critical seams adds strength.

This 10k waterproof fabric keeps light rain and sprays out, while zippered leg vents promote airflow to regulate temperature. Articulated knees and waistband with elastic cinches offer the most comfortable fit, while the cut makes room for knee pads. A zipped pocket for smartphones and an intelligent left wrist pocket designed to store bike park passes complete this standout feature set.

With their hidden aesthetic and highly-durable fabrics, Endura Singletrack Trousers II from Chain Reaction Cycles provides bulletproof MTB trail trousers. Enjoy unrestricted freedom wherever the trail takes you!

Durability

The Singletracks are constructed from durable nylon fabric that feels durable over time. These trousers boast stretch panels at both knees and waist for added flexibility and a roomier cut than other mountain bike trousers.

These pants may not be entirely seam sealed, but their DWR coating helps ward off light rain and spray while meshed vents allow temperature regulation on the move. After 21 rides, I found them quite durable, with only minor signs of wear such as minor scuff marks.

These trousers feature zipped hand pockets, zipped thigh vents, and additional cargo pockets on the rear. Their waistband features integrated stretch and Velcro side waist adjusters; in addition, there are Clickfast poppers built into each leg so you can attach an Endura Clickfast liner short quickly and securely. These pants are part of Endura’s MT500 range and provide essential warmth and moisture control while riding in rough terrain conditions.

Appearance

Super tough and fully featured MTB trail pants designed to take on whatever comes their way – from steep terrain and deep snowfall all the way through to riding back uphill!

Endura’s SingleTrack trousers explicitly state their dominance in the bulletproof trail pant category. Constructed with durable nylon fabrics and unparalleled garment engineering, these rugged pants feel like they were built for survival.

With their simple drawcord adjustment in the waist and Velcro adjuster tabs, these shorts provide a snug but not tight fit that won’t restrict climbing movements. In addition, Clickfast liner compatibility means an added layer of warmth on steep climbs is possible by adding short liners.

Fabric is water resistant but not waterproof, meaning if you sit still for too long, it could get damp on the outside. Short pit zip vents help regulate temperature by ventilating heat out. They’ll scrunch down into an easily portable size so you can keep one handy in your jersey pocket in case of an emergency.
